Well, Nehor, as I've indicated, I have reasons to doubt what you're saying.

Reasons which you fail to elucidate because you know they would make you look like an idiot.

Then in what context were you talking about guilds d***a**? The only other option I see is that you think I'm a time traveller from the Middle Ages. Feel free to offer another explanation for what I should have thought the term meant.

No, there are all kinds of "guilds."

Okay, name some.

And you seem like precisely the sort of chap who would be a member of such a thing.

What thing? You still haven't suggested what kind of 'guild' you could possibly mean.

It needn't be WoW per se.

Then what?

I mean, maybe you're into Renaissance Fairs and that sort of thing, right?

Okay, let us assume for the moment that Renn Fairs have 'guilds' (unlikely but I wouldn't know for sure). So you are saying you thought I was out in the middle of the night with people from a Renn Fair in my 'guild' doing 'guild' things? Do you realize how stupid that sounds?

Do you really want me to stop by your place?

Sure. Waddle your way on over here.

Nehor, come on, now. There's no need for yet another meltdown. All I did was joke with you about posting very late at night. You've made a number of comments in the past that suggest you have a powerful affinity for WoW/D&D-style activities, and thus I felt it was reasonable to assume/joke about the possibility (or fact?) that you were up late playing games or whatever with your "guild." There's no need to flip out over this, Nehor.

What's weird about your responses (and Simon's, for that matter) is that you seem more intent on probing into what, exactly, I meant by "guild." If you have nothing whatsoever to do with any "guild" in any way, shape, or form, then I rather doubt you would have followed this line of inquiry.

You sure seem worried about The Nehor, Simon. What's up with that?

I don't think it is as much worry about me as it is mocking condescension directed at you.

So, are you going to tell us about the guild you belong to, Nehor?

I have seen some strange Mopologistry in my time, but this Nehor-Belmont pavement diving contest really takes the cake.

It is as though they consulted about finding the stupidest thing to take issue with and then came out all hot under the collar, fists swinging into the empty air.

LDS apologetics is a stupid thing to take issue with.

I had no idea you thought that LDS apologetics are so unworthy of notice. I guess that is so, until one faces a challenge to one's faith. Then it suddenly becomes important.

Do you know what "take issue with" means?
