To clarify, you think Hound of Heaven and whiskey are both "quite capable" of posting in a normal, non-provocative way? I saw one thread where whiskey shined you on a bit, maybe that's clouded your judgment but the vast majority of posts from both these clowns are disruptive and repeatedly edge up to and include outright breaking of multiple rules. Your lecture about how to moderate seems to be based on your observations where you are missing a number of facts.

It should be no secret to anyone just who does the heavy lifting around here and anyone who has moderated will tell you it's no easy task to juggle both hats as poster/moderator.

If there's no one to examine the exchanges you simply withdraw. In the case of the thread in question now split off what I see is him repeatedly responding to you. Wait. I have to find the cats.

When you withdraw he has 3 choices.

1. Keep going like a broken record idiot talking to no one.
2. Or stop because you've withdrawn your attention.
3. Board stalk you out of revenge.

If he follows you to other threads, same thing. Withdraw. Keep a record of his board stalking you. You can put it in the Mod Forum* for documentation.

The board stalking has its humorous moments. I don’t know if you’ve been following any of the activity in the Rules and Moderator thread but there are 30 pages of (mostly) the puppet Hound account trying to push and prod edge case scenarios and accusing me of ‘letting’ other members do any number of things. Being as most of it is baseless, the stalking has given a chance for some fun conversations. I’m absolutely guilty of poking fun right back in response.

There are a few more pages of the Hound account’s gripes that ended up in the Prison version of that thread, as well.

If you choose that strategy and now that he knows what it is (and Hound knows because he's on this thread), your withdrawal serves as a type of warning because if he doesn't stop board stalking and doesn't shut up, he knows that a potential ruling is on the way and that's on him.

for what it's worth I think you do an excellent job of modding. I wanted to address these issues publicly so we could get to this ^^^point where a possible strategy was spelled out in no uncertain terms. If you choose to employ it, the poster(s) in question will recognize it when you go silent and what your purpose is for doing so.
