The point isn't obscenities. I have a foul mouth in the real world when I'm around my friends. Online, I can do without it, when Scratch or my friends resort to it I don't necessarily love it. I don't care that much. I do get annoyed when critics or apologist take their eyes too far off the reason for calling the name, for instance, I never found the DCP donut jokes funny. I really don't get into Infymus's ultra-crude jokes and pics. But I'm not going to run around PMing "my team" just for that stuff. For that matter, I'm sure I do things that annoy my fellow critics too. I also would not care to simply criticize Ray for the fact he uses foul language. I will say, it doesn't matter what set of friends I'm around online or off, I'd never feel comfortable telling or listening to a "tire skid" joke about Mormons or anyone else.

So I'm talking in particular about "violence laden" jokes or personal attacks. It doesn't matter if they are "serious" or not, ya just shouldn't go there.

I can think of one die-hard critic from a board long ago who I think Ray even crossed swords with, I won't mention his name, but oh yeah, I denounced him a couple of times publicly and then just steered clear. At his worst, Ray has done about 85% of what he did, though he did it day in and day out (Ray does, as a minor credit, take a break). Like Ray, (though more frequently) he couldn't really see the seriousness of what he was doing. I never, ever answered a PM or became email friends for that reason. (he was very, very smart by the way)

I wanted to hold off on doing it, since I believe it runs contrary to Shades's vision for the board. I'm pretty sure that he doesn't want to have to play "judge" for this kind of baloney. Furthermore, I don't want any of my very reliable "sources" to get the idea that I am going to throw them under the bus. But, after putting up with yet another round of your crap, I'm willing to throw down.

What was the problem? Oh, I get it. I was criticising Mormons then. Just your cup of tea. You, beastie, only ever admired me when I was critical, or when I voiced my opinions about Book of Mormon historicity. You know what, beastie, I think you are the real "flip-flopper".

This is a bad test. Copying and pasting is easy to alter. If it comes down to proof I suggest you both take screenshots of your inbox complete with sender and timestamp. Otherwise whoever is lying can keep on lying.
