Hungry people are sinners?[/quote

The Lord says about the resources of the earth that "there is enough and to spare." The reason there isn't any to spare right now is because some are selfishly using theirs and and a lot of other people's shares, too. When the selfish ones are gone, there is going to be plenty. That's why there won't be any hujngry. Or homeless.

No Charity, I don't understand what that means. Is that to say that all conflict, poverty, and illness will be wiped from the face of the earth? How does that work exactly. And I'm asking with complete sincerity. All the people about the world that currently are coping with AIDS, poverty, and are in war torn countries will find themselves at peace, disease free, and tummies full? Is it going to be like a world wide miracle? Those people that once were in squalid conditions will now find themselves in what?

I gather that it means that you and other TBMs will sit back, chortling with rancid and malign glee as all the sinners are burnt to a cinder.

This whole statement has to be one of the sillier things I've ever read on this message board, and I've read plenty.

Charity, a question.

How was Jesus Christ's purported appearance to Joseph Smith not the Second Coming? How was his purported appearance to the Nephites not the Second Coming?

Sounds like this will actually be, for Latter-day Saint believers, the Fourth Coming.

The Lord had a "first" advent. His mortal life, His resurrection and appearance to Mary and all the apostles, and everyone else after His resurrection were all part of that. That includes Nephites, and any other sheep there might have been, and the appearancees to Jospeh Smith. There was more than one, you know. He has alos appeared to other prophets, and to all those who have had their calling and election made sure. But these are not His Second Coming. This appearance will be to all the earth at the same time, when He comes in glory with the hosts of heaven. It sounds like it will be pretty spectacular.

I'm sure there are a few people out there who missed that stamp in their passport who'll be calling you for references.
