(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

It's true that I can make no guarantees. I can only share my experience. If you honestly feel that staying in the LDS Church is what makes you happiest, then by all means follow your happiness. I do not begrudge anyone their happiness in Mormonism.

If, on the other hand, you find yourself depressed by going, barely able to make it through meetings without anger, or the like, then perhaps it is time to consider other options. Is it easy? No? Will life be blissful as soon as you wave goodbye to the ward house? Probably not, but I have found over time that I really feel better being without it.
