... Being a free market capitalist (as God is) ...
Up to now, I've read many attributes of god/God. Free market capitalist was not among them.
You've obviously not read the scriptures. Laying up treasures in heaven, investing to increase value (parable of the talents), being judged according to performance (works), private property and the free use of it being the basis of the Law of Consecration, etc. etc.
Not murder by definition.
Is that because Nephi was told to kill the unconscious and defenceless Laban by the voice in his head/warm feeling of the Holy Ghost in his heart?
No. Murder is defined as unlawful killing (with malice aforethought). If the one who is and who gives the law gives the okay, it is not unlawful.

So ... you'd be happy
1. To teach kids in school that it's OK for them to kill people if your deity tells them to do it?
2. For people arraigned for homicide to be able to plead 'The LDS deity told me to do it' as a legitimate defense?
If not, why not?

Zadok: I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis. Maksutov: That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

I'd quite like that to happen to him, really, so he can enjoy eternity in the company of the exalted Schryver and bcspace, which I know is bound to give him keen pleasure. Has Osama bin Laden been given this wonderful privilege yet, and if not why not?
I read today that Gaddafi's captors hit him with their shoes before he died (the ultimate Islamic insult, I hear). How much more horrific would it be for Gaddafi to suddenly wake up in Mormon Heaven? Just punishment? Is Heaven for the Mormons Hell for the rest of us?
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

I would think the Colonel would be very happy in Mormon Heaven. Eternal polygamy... Right up his alley.

You're an even bigger apostate than I'd realized.
