so, is the LDS church now endorsing drinking and smoking as long as you are famous? I have seen a few interviews with these guys and, while they don't mock the LDS church, they have expressed a disinterest in the teachings as they drink their bourbon....

I think i need to do an "im a Mormon ad"....

The Killers are my most hated band of the last 20 years or so. Their music actually puts me in a bad mood, like country. It's takes awful to a whole new level.

I had no idea that dude was LDS, but then, I have no interest in them personally.

I thought I read that he had stopped drinking and smoking. Seems like I read that a year or two ago.

Yeah that could be true. Maybe that is why they are featuring him. Does anyone know if he still drinks and smokes?

But you thought this chick could sing, so what does that say?:

Interestingly, his profile on Mormon.org was clearly not written by him, it's a press release bio not a testimony. I guess he wanted to leave his options open.

That my dick has ears?

That girl has more talent in her pinky finger than the Killers have in their whole "band."

I mean, seriously, dude... "I have soul but I'm not a soldier?" Ooooo, deep. (damned retarded)

I never said I hated U2. I said they were the most overrated band ever. I like a lot of their stuff, but that doesn't prevent me from seeing how vastly overrated they are.

The last good album from U2 was Joshua Tree, and barely at that.

The Unforgettable Fire was their peak.

he mentions his mom in the video, and i read elsewhere that she died of cancer last year or so. i'm sure that has caused him to re-think where he stands on things and the direction he wants to take his life. in any event, however the guy wants to feel about the church is his own business.

one quote i believe is attributed to s.w. kimball is something along the lines of "the sweetest smell is that of a smoker in church on sunday."
-"I was gonna say something but I forgot what it was."
-"Well, it must not have been very important or you wouldn't've forgotten it!"
-"Oh, I remember. I'm radioactive."
