He was under no illusion that his brain was doing anything other than providing him with illusion. Needless to say, this created a bit of a quandary. If your understanding of your environment is based on a funhouse mirror reflection of what's really going on, then every single thought has to be viewed with suspicion. Which created yet another quandary - paralysis by analysis. What, if any, is the appropriate action one takes in response to a constant flow of cerebral misinformation? Of course there was always the option to move through the world with great certainty, pretending that his consciousness was hardwired into the absolute truth of existence. The obvious downside in that would be talking and behaving like a presidential candidate. After some time to inaccurately reflect, he devised a scientific solution that he hoped would ease not only his own suffering, but the suffering of all mankind. He called it Apologetics™. The basis for his amazing breakthrough can be seen below in what millions of Apologists around the world call The Mea Culpa Triangle.

dangs nabbit.

I'm going to have to up my game if'n I want the posters here to whine about what I post over on that site. My comment on that thread went without notice by the likes of folks here.

Don't tell the mods over there but I've been thinking of making comments with the intention of catching your guys' attention over here. I doubt I'll do it--too much work--but it'd be kind of fun.

As buffalo would have it, you guys are obsessed with that place of there.
Love ya tons,

I think many find it entertaining, just as your obsession with this place, and I guess since you post over there, you must be obsessed with them as well. Lets face it Stak found an interesting line from MFB who he has had discussions with in the past. I do find it interesting that he does want to be open about problems he may see in the church, even though many non-believers can be very open about the good they see in the church.

I am so obsessed that I almost never visit and would pay it no mind at all if others were not writing about it here. It's just not my kind of place.

I really don't think anyone is obsessed. I'm teasing Buffalo for his use of obsessed. If some LDS guy comes over on this board and comments about it elsewhere that LDS guy is obsessed, as described by Buffalo. For some reason the same doesn't apply to posters here who aren't LDS or are no longer believers, in his mind.

I don't know why I tease folks for such things...I just do.

You're pretty obsessed with me, Stem. What's up with that? :P
