Even though there were only a total of 30-35 people in the forum it was climbing at a rate of about 100s hit in five minutes.
I would suspect that someone or someones are using a macro to refresh it just to drive up the hits.

I thought the same thing, but then why would this be the case just for threads I start?

It's simple. The initial surge was authentic. When noticed and commented on over her it made Wade and Schryver look bad. The solution? Flood the threads with false hits, so that it looks flagrantly false in order to conflate the attack with the initial bulge. Kevin, you have been attacked!

Doesn't Schryver occasionally boast that he is some kind of high-grade techy?

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

No high tech req'd. Anyone with a gaming keyboard or third party gaming macro programs could do this. (In other words any 15 year male.)
It also seems to have slowed down significantly after STS and I posted about it.

To what end?

I don't know other than the obvious. Maybe it is like what STS suggested, that someone is trying to hide the greater interest in Kevin's (& George's I might add) posts. If that is so then they were way too obvious.

It is also nice to see that Kevin has rejoined the thread.

I rejoined just to add a few more comments but I really don't know where this thread could possibly be heading. Schryver refuses to defend anything he presents and the only person on the planet interested in defending Schryver has multiple learning disabilities combined with an ego problem.

I just posted an image from the presentation which should serve as a final slapdown to Wade's ridiculous rants about how I have misunderstood Gee!

I swear, that's the only way he knows how to respond and he does it before he even watches the damn presentation!

Kevin, you're doing better than usual on your ad hominem comments, and you're doing stunningly (as usual) on your factual comments. I'd like to suggest you try even harder to drop all the "you don't understand" and "Gee lies through his teeth" and whatnot comments. I cringe as I read the cat-fighting back and forth between Wade, Will, and you, because it's just going to get the mods to decide to end it. I'd hate to see substantive threads about the KEP (at least substative from the critics' side, other than the interspersed cat-fighting) cut short by "bad behavior". I'd suggest a more Chris Smith or George Miller-like posting approach.

Other than that, I'm really grateful to you guys for the images you've posted, with the explanations, showing the KEP manuscript characters and the papyrus from whence they came, and in what order, and so forth. It's really good stuff.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

What Seth said x 2 especially the bolded part. It was and is greatly appreciated.

Agreed. Kevin, when you do that stuff you just play into Will's hands. He's trying to bait you into getting the thread closed because he can't respond to your arguments.

Well done!
