Isn't wonderful to know that God has his favorite children? But if you're not one of his favorite children do not fear! He considers you a dog. Man's best friend! Isn't God a bigot.. I mean great. Isn't God great?

I distinctly remember that a seminary teacher once tried to claim that the "dog" Jesus refers to was actually the Hebrew word for a type of cute little puppy that families kept as pets.

Does anyone else know anything about this?

as far as I know, seminary teachers, bishops and GAs are noted fror greek, hebrew and aramaic knowledge. Roman Catholic priests want to overtake and outstrip them with 4-5-6 year full time seminary.

by the way seminary - as many other words in the boundary of Mormonism - was raped/prostituted.

 19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto athe gate of his place;

 20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.

 21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

I am the LORD your God, and I love the words "utterly destroy~" and I use it over and over again, times without number.

Exodus 22
20. He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.

Numbers 21
2. And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.
3. And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.

Deuteronomy 2
34. And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:

Deuteronomy 3
6. And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.

Deuteronomy 7

I got tired. There are 10 utterly destroy left in Joshua only, and this is only the sixth book of Old Testament.
There are fiftysome more I don't cite because enough is enough.

For optimist readers: in the New Testament nobody should utterly destroyed.
