I hate this one and wish they would quit using it:

"Scum sucking, lily livered, hornswoggling, low life anti-mormon *^@@$&##."

That common MD&D expression is irritating and makes it sound like they are from the wrong side of the 47%.

One term I've always hated is "TBM." It makes it sound like believing Mormons just blindly accept what they are told. I don't know anyone who believes everything the church teaches and who hasn't adapted things to his or her own life (well, maybe a couple of the apologists I know). But really, it seems as unhelpful as "anti-Mormon."

I don't get quite the same sense of TBM as you describe. For me a TBM is someone who is trying to obey the gospel as currently taught by Church leadership. I think it includes both those who live by blind faith and those who are aware of problems and retain their faith anyways. I see it as a way to differentiate between NOM's (those who advocate for change from within the Church), cultural Mormons (members who are active to one degree or another purely for social and or family reasons) and the faithful (TBM's).
