Good elohim, you are a moron:

"The proverb comes from the Gospel of Matthew, verse 26:52, which describes a disciple (identified in the Gospel of John as Simon Peter) drawing a sword to defend against the arrest of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, but is rebuked by Jesus, who tells him to sheath the weapon:

Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword (Matthew 26:52, King James Version)"

Its like you are too stupid to actually understand the lesson...I love that you (and your bigoted buddies who are scared to death of african-americans) are so shallow that you took a part of Bible (that is used to justify pacifism) to rationalize the shooting of an unarmed young man.

Its also hilarious that you, a professed christian(lol), completely ignore the major teachings of Jesus Christ (turn the other cheek, etc.)...It makes me sad that there are people like you in world.

That should be on your business cards, or at least your t-shirts.

Sorry, couldn't resist. You gotta admit, you wrote a great line.

There's an old public relations adage about dealing with the media: When asked a question you don't like, answer the question you wish you were asked.

You answered my question with one word: "No". The rest is what you wish you were asked.

Go back and look at the context of my question:

ldsfaqs wrote:Stevie Wonder is "boycotting" Florida and any state or country that has a stand your ground law.
In other words, Stevie Wonder the incredibly ignorant liberal he is believes people should not be allowed to defend themselves even unto death of their attacker, but should instead just allow attackers to beat them unto death.

So ldsfaqs, before Stand Your Ground laws, people weren't allowed to defend themselves, and just had to allow their attackers to beat them to death?

You answer begins with 'No".

That means that, although you admit knowing full well that prior to Stand Your Ground, the law did not force people to just allow their attackers to beat them to death, you accuse Stevie Wonder of being an "incredibly ignorant liberal" who wants people to "just allow attackers to beat them to death", by disapproving of Stand Your Ground laws.

I think you may be disingenuous in your arguments.

You people are so stupid, having to create straw-men to try and win your argument.
What happened to Zimmerman wasn't a simple "fist fight", it was a violent beating. If you people can't understand the difference, then you frankly have no business even speaking. You are a waste of sound waves.

I know exactly what the lesson was moron.....

If you somehow don't think fists are not "weapons", then you also have no business talking.
Trayvon Martin didn't have a friendly or even unfriendly boxing match, he was violently and deadly beating on someone. He was living by the sword..... Thus, if you are going to llive by the sword, it's not unexpected according to the parable that he would die by it.

If you can't understand the situation applies, then I can't help your mental and moral defect.

What about turn the other cheek? I guess Zimm lives by the sword and we will watch as this all plays out.

Zimmerman has already been found not guilty. If the people of Florida do not like the 'stand your ground' law, then they need to contact their lawmakers there.

According to faqs those who live by the sword die by it. Just pointing out that Zimm would fall into that category.
