Don't trust clean cut, slick politicians who publicly claim to be all about conservative, christian, family values. While many of them are genuine, too many of them turn out to be the very thing they claim to despise. There's nothing wrong with being gay, it's the hypocrisy that's the problem. Why does it happen as often as it does? Did they sell their soul to the party before they discovered their sexual orientation?

Obviously, subgenious has abandoned even the pretext of honesty, integrity and reason. It doesn't matter a whit to him if a politician is a hypocritical lowlife, likewise devoid of integrity, honesty and reason, as long as said politician is a Republican who claims to support policies that meet with subby's approval. It is amazing that he can't see or understand that such a politician can't be trusted to follow through on any of the policies that he or she claims to support, nor refrain from even the most egregious graft and theft and corruption.
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

People living Christian lives don't advertise they're Christians. If someone makes a point of saying they're Christian, alarms should go off not to trust that person. If you're honest, you shouldn't feel the need to tell me you're honest.

Here's the thing. The dude is dumb as a post and an obvious liar. He's a Trumpublican, the shallow end of the gene pool.

Good point. Like Tywin explained to Joffrey, "Any man who must say, 'I am the King', is no true king". Or as Trump says, "I'm really smart."

Hey, instead of sounding like a lemming could you reference the legislation that the OP voted their hate on?

I don't want you guys to appear more shallow than you do already lest you appear as just a dry recess.

Or maybe opt for the low bar and explain how each and every piece of anti-gay legislation must be sauteed in hate....or are just trying to congeal the sticky marrow fat of your voter base?

Hey everybody! gather round and listen to the anti-Christian atheist instruct us all on what a real Christian must be.
And its odd, because my alarms go off when self-indulgent liberals insist on telling us all who we are and how we must be...its got a familiar sense to it...just can't quite place it....hmmm...maybe i should reference the OP again....hmmm

Right! It is nearly impossible to imagine a more morally bankrupt or dishonest ethic than that!

This one protect a preacher from rape charge.

Georgia lawmaker David Ralston used his position to invoke a legal loophole allowing a preacher who sexually assaulted and raped a 14-year-old girl to escape prison.

According to reports, Ralston, the House Speaker in the Georgia state legislature, used his position as a lawmaker to delay court proceedings and prevent the prosecution of Jason Brothers, a traveling preacher and a rapist.e likes young girls

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports on the background of the case:

The girl came forward about what the preacher had done to her after her parents caught her trying to slit her wrists.

In the years that followed, the family’s world unraveled in their rural community in the North Georgia mountains. The girl’s health deteriorated from a congenital heart defect, and many in their church shunned them and rallied around the traveling evangelist who she told police had raped and molested her in her home while her parents slept…
