It truly is stunning that people today are still of the opinion that this is overblown by the media. Today we just surpassed 3,000 deaths, after more than 520 deaths were reported. Our deadliest day thus far.

Again, it is astounding that there are people so damned obtuse that they're clinging to debunked talking points from two months ago. Hell, even FOX News is no longer spewing this BS anymore. A bad cold? Did you actually just say this?

I've had several people apologize to me on social media for comments they made in February about it being an overblown nothing burger. Now they see the reality.

"Most people will survive it" isn't a good reason to ignore it. It isn't a good reason to let more people die from it. Even Trump is on television daily claiming that by doing nothing the virus will have killed 2 million Americans.

In just one month more people have died from this virus than died on 9/11. We went to war and ended up killing more Americans in the process of getting payback, and we also went into a recession and suicides rates climbed (mostly from military returning from the war).

Seriously, the argument that more people will die by simply practicing nationwide social distancing is absurd. If everyone does what they're supposed to this thing could be over in a few months. But if you're more worried about how this will negatively impact Trump's reelection bid, then you're just putting politics before American lives.
