The photo wasn't leaked. It was filed as an exhibit to the DOJ's response to Trump's motion to appoint a special master.

I don't know if they've shared this information before, or elsewhere, but according to the brief, after reviewing contents of the boxes taken during the execution of the search warrant, they recovered "over one hundred unique documents with classification markings." The classification/compartmentalization of some of the documents were sensitive enough that "FBI counterintelligence personnel and DOJ attorneys conducting the review required additional clearances before they were permitted to review certain documents."

One thing that stood out to me is that the passports (which were apparently both expired) that they returned to Trump were in a drawer that also had classified documents in it. Classified documents, just chilling an a desk drawer with some expired passports.

Then there's the little burn they put in there that comes across as a bit passive-aggressive. In a few hours, FBI agents were able to find over twice as many classified documents as Trump's team was able to find during a "diligent search" over the course of months.

Here’s the footnote in the brief that discusses the passports:

6 Plaintiff repeatedly claims that his passports were outside the scope of the warrant and improperly seized, and that the government, in returning them, has admitted as much. See D.E. 1 at 2 & n.2; D.E. 28 at 3, 8, 9. These claims are incorrect. Consistent with Attachment B to the search warrant, the government seized the contents of a desk drawer that contained classified documents and governmental records commingled with other documents. The other documents included two official passports, one of which was expired, and one personal passport, which was expired. The location of the passports is relevant evidence in an investigation of unauthorized retention and mishandling of national defense information; nonetheless, the government decided to return those passports in its discretion.

I find it troubling that classified documents were kept in a drawer with an unexpired passport. The passports are also relevant to whether Trump knew there were classified documents in the desk drawer.

I heard that too, and it destroys their argument that all of these things were previously declassified. The President does have authority to declassify things, but it has to go through a process. And any President willing to declassify documents on the secret whereabouts of our spies serving in other countries needs to be impeached on that alone. I mean holly hell, would could possibly be the justification for declassifying these things? Even if that spy is no longer working in that area, those types of docs stay classified forever for reasons that even a child can understand.

Yeah, Trump is guilty as sin. There is no more room for excuses. Every time they threaten the DOJ, the DOJ drops more damning evidence that demolishes all of their idiotic excuse making. And the way Trump reacts with conniption fits on social medial is telling. He knows he has no way out of this.
