Another thread diverted to criticizing DCP.

Karma, baby, karma. DCP has made a career of criticizing those who stop believing in his church. He reincarnates almost daily as a lightning rod. Then feigns not knowing why he would be the subject of counter-criticism by those he has targeted and maligned.

There's another thread on the board about Jeffrey Holland ripping on the missionaries in Britain and telling them that if the mission were a horse, he'd shoot it. Holland's remarks - elitist, out-of-touch with reality, even abusive - are indicative of a larger malaise that's infected leadership for a long time.

Kevin Pearson, dick though he may be, is simply playing the game he learned. He, as a general authority, knows how the average TBM views him and his colleagues. It's almost a blank check to be as strident, arrogant, and hostile to the members as he wants. He's one of the anointed, one of the lesser mouthpieces of God who takes his marching orders directly from the actual mouthpieces of God.
