Blue ANON, first time hearing that, thanks for the enlightenment.
Are the libs saying, “no fraud, no need to investigate, clean election…”?
I am of the mindset, if there is any proof of fraud, investigate. The only examples of fraud I have read about are actually votes for Trump. Because of the impracticality of a full audit, it is understandable that a large, random sampling of ballots would suffice to identify any irregularities from machines and tabulating devices. Signature verification… a little more tricky if it is even possible.
That all being said, when did the right get concerned about election integrity? Just this past election? Did they call for the 2016 election to be audited? Did the libs? Or is the Mueller investigation the equivalent to what is currently happening?
You would think with modern technology, election integrity would be increasing. Some in the “know” claim it is. Just because people have a “hunch” or just happen to “believe” something is fishy, should the rest of the country appease their “hunch”?
The libs are saying there is no evidence anywhere of widespread fraud, which is true. The idiots on the Right are calling it a stolen election that was fraught with fraud. The only fraud that's been demonstrated has come from Republicans.
The right is not concerned about election integrity, they're only concerned about suppressing the vote and attacking Democracy because they cannot win the majority anymore and staying in power is all they care about. They know, and we all know, that when more people vote, republicans tend to lose elections. They're targeting minorities and poor people who tend to lean Left by claiming they're only doing it in the name of election security. That's BS. Republicans in Georgia and elsewhere have conceded the point that this was the most secure election we've ever had. Some Republicans have gone on record saying the reason for suppressing the vote is to keep Democrats out of power.
I can think of no kookier crap than the huge Trumpian lie that the election was stolen from him, with the possible exception of Marjorie Taylor Green's claim that last year's California fires were started by Jewish space lasers.
those are your top kooknesses?
that pales in comparison to weapons of mass destruction kookness or whatever is the opposite side of the global warming side you are on. hell, the theranos IPO was kookier than either of your examples. By A LOT!
I could support/reject your examples and still they would not rank on the scale of kooky BS I have seen. Standing/Laches is a hell of a lot kookier than a stolen election (factual or not) or the wacky beliefs of an elected official. Hell, I can think of a dozen or so elected officials that believe that god made people white or dark based on their sins and they are willing to pay tithing to the organization that promotes the theory. In fact, one such ding dong agrees with you on most crap.
It all seems to hinge on whether or not a particular talking point fits our ideology. From there, we are free to pout on our side and point at the people across the fault.

It doesn't matter. You haven't presented credible justification for doubting the integrity of the audits either, unless you are talking about the asinine, farcical "audit" now being perpetrated in Maricopa County, AZ, by the Cyber Ninja group.
right. dueling farcical audits. a judgment based purely on ideology.
you are right though, it doesn't matter. it will not change anyone's ideology and the other folks are stupid. not only is there no point in debating it, there is no point in acknowledging that ideology plays any role in our own righteousness.
Where is your evidence that the audits were bogus? And what do you say about the current ongoing audit by MAGA morons wearing Trump hats and using infrared and microscopes to find any anomaly just so they can claim widespread fraud?
You keep repeating this mantra about how our own biases won't allow us to see things any other way. That's just intellectual laziness. I voted Republican all my life. Voted McCain in 2008, but then Obama in 2012. I didn't vote in 2016 because I wasn't a fan of either side at the time. The point is people can be swayed if there is ample evidence to do so. I'll likely never vote Republican again because the party has become an idiotic cult which stands for nothing.

well, on the racism note. bye bye. enjoy your racism. I do not participate in those sorts of accusations. I have not met all republicans, apparently you have and you know more than me. i will take your word for it and just bow out.
i joined this conversation because i agreed wholly with the OP and thought it was worthwhile. I am glad i did.
it is going to get a whole lot worse.

You honestly have serious doubts about the Cyber Ninja audit being hugely farcical compared to the previous audits already unanimously certified by Maricopa County election officials, both Democrat and Republican? Incredible!
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

i didn't say that. never said that.
incredible indeed. confirmation bias indeed.
Ooops. Your comment may have been intended for someone else. My bad.
I am merely making the point that there are dueling audits, and each has someone calling them farcical. I never made a judgment on them specifically. I do not care much about a particular county audit within a state. That is farcical. So, I guess I am making my statement of judgment now. Dueling farces!

Alright, I'll concede that there are a lot of things even kookier than Trump's big lie, but that lie is still a seriously kooky and dangerous lie.

I do not agree that a particular county audit within a state is necessarily farcical, or that only a statewide or nationwide audit can be valid.

so, if we disagree can we be agreeable or do we have to kill each other and call each other racists and fascists? Isn't that more important than being right about an election or something?

We definitely need to tone down the rhetoric.
Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.
