I woke up today with blood in my mucus, but no other symptoms. I triaged that. I was advised on isolation for 14 days, but also not to go out unless I thought it was necessary. I found that part surprising. I should not seek treatment unless my symptoms worsen. I’d love to have a scan of my lungs right about now.

I cannot get a test because I do not have known contact with a confirmed case. And the plausible case I have been in contact with cannot get a test for the same reason. You have to luck into someone in your chain getting tested, I guess.

That is mind blowing--I'm so sorry. I just got an email from REI saying that one of their employees of the Overland Park store who worked last week was just tested positive. I happened to be in the store last week. So if you were fortunate enough to have received an email like this, you'd be able to be tested?

If you did test positive, is there much they could do for you in way of treatment? Keep us updated on how you are doing.
It’s relatively easy to agree that only Homo sapiens can speak about things that don’t really exist, and believe six impossible things before breakfast. You could never convince a monkey to give you a banana by promising him limitless bananas after death in monkey heaven.

Today's earthquake caused the Angel Moroni's trumpet to fall off. This, of course, will be the main story tonight on KSL.

Some people fear the coronavirus more than God. While that seems blasphemous, there is proof that the coronavirus exists.

In theory, it’s up to your doctor. In practice, it’s determined by the local health department. They send out guidance to the doctors. At least that’s how it works here.

Introducing the social distance stick .... tell your loved ones where to go during quarantine! Comes in electric cattle prod models for those special persons you wish you could touch but can't anymore. Starting at $19.99 (as seen on t.v.)

Just a coupla things right now.

All of our grocery stores are offering the first hour of shopping on certain days to seniors and vulnerable persons to shop first thing when the stores have been deep cleaned and fully stocked. I wish they'd offer that daily. I hope they change that.

Where I live there are few places to eat out. One establishment is offering to order a list of products (including paper goods) for residents of this community from their vendors--at cost.

It looks like we have a pretty strong snow storm coming in over night with snow lasting through Friday--wind gusts up to 50mph. That's the kind of storm that can knock out our power. Hoping we can preserve the food in our freezers.

I realized just last night that when I had my trip to the ER that while all hospital personnel were wearing masks...none of the paramedics that came in the house were masked. Trying not to dwell on it since whatever's done is done.

On my way to Walmart pharm to try the drive through service. I'm going to wear gloves and put my cards in a small ziploc for when they go through the tubes so I don't have to touch much of anything...will disinfect wipe those cards when I take them out for the last time today because I do need to pump gas.

Hopefully observing the needed precautions. Feels a little crazy trying to figure this stuff out but I'm giving it my best shot!
