I'll leave Mormonism when it posts something negative about another religion.
Really Drifting, your logical mind is faulty.

Hey Josh, Buffalo and others have pretty much handed you your ass on a plate and showed the crummy things that the LDS church has said, through it's leaders, about other religions.
Please resign from the church now.

Hello,
I noticed you own the domain MormonsSuck.com and you are offering it for sale. I am interested in buying it.
$150,000 does seem a little high. Do you think you can come down from that a little? Or is some reason why the domain is so valuable? (Especially when MormonsSuck.org and MormonsSuck.net are available for less than $10 each.)
Thanks,
Ishmael

It is also well established in the search engines and receives about 100 unique hits a day.
Counter-offer. I’m open for suggestions.

Well, my limited research indicates that a fair value for a website that generates some kind of revenue is about $10 to $30 per daily hit. That would put MormonsSuck.com at about $1000 to $3000.
Except that it doesn't generate any revenue, does it? If not, then I would guess that it's fair value would be significantly less than that. Maybe $500?
How exactly did you arrive at the figure of $150,000? Bear in mind that before I spent that kind of money on a domain, I would want to get a professional appraisal, just as I would for a piece of real estate.

$150,000 is what I need to pay off my car and get a down-payment on a house in San Diego. I’m not desperate to sell the domain, but it is active and gets a lot of traffic. Also, besides the fact it has a good space in Google and Yahoo, plus it just has that “I wonder if that exists” value. Lots of people hate Mormons and Mormons are a popular religious ideology.
Bottom line is that the domain is a unique item, and $3000 is even a bit low to sell such a permanent space on the Internet.

I see. So the figure you're asking has nothing to do with the underlying value of the asset, it's just the amount of money you would like to have. Gotcha.
I know, why not sell it for $500,000? Or $1,000,000? Then you could pay cash for a house.
Good luck with that. Sheesh.
