Comey and James Cases Dismissed After Judge Finds Prosecutor Wasn’t Properly Appointed
Decisions deal a blow to President Trump’s efforts to prosecute his perceived political adversaries

A federal judge on Monday dismissed criminal charges against both former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James, ruling that the Trump-appointed prosecutor who brought them was unlawfully serving in the role.

The decisions from Judge Cameron McGowan Currie deal a significant setback to the Justice Department, which brought charges against Comey and James within weeks of President Trump publicly calling on Attorney General Pam Bondi to prosecute several of his prominent critics.

Trump and his cronies are really not very good at doing stuff properly, are they?

Are you saying that Comey and James are likely guilty, but that the cronies did it wrong?

I can't speak for Chap, by my interpretation is that he's saying Comey and James are obviously innocent, and that the cronies did it all wrong. In other words, the cronies were unable to find a pathway of corruption and criminality to falsely convict Comey and James. Just like 64 failed 2020 election cases that went to the Supreme Court. You have a talent problem when it comes to lying and cheating the courts.

That's about it! It is good to recall that many of those tossed "We wuz robbed" cases from the 2020 election were thrown out by Trump appointed judges. Terrible, isn't it, the way lawyers keep on making decisions on purely legal grounds? That is what is commonly called by some 'activism', I believe. To me, however, it seems to be what lawyers and judges are supposed to do. How naïve of me!
