Perhaps he's stubborn enough to hold to his libertarian principles which would certainly result in total anarchy if actually followed. It's be interesting and very messy to see.
[/quote]Again, you pretend to be a dingbat version of a civil libertarian when it comes to prosecuting crimes committed by Trumpworld, but then declare genuine civil libertarianism to be absolute anarchy.
The only things I expressed in this thread was police union reform, overturning qualified immunity and related court precedents, and eliminating police training that encourages police to see themselves at war with the citizens they hired to serve and protect and while encouraging aggressive interactions with the public. I have more ideas than that, for example eliminating government programs that encourage police departments to acquire military equipment, robust community oversight boards, criminalizing police coverups, etc. but this is what you are reacting to.
Care to spell out how that would result in "total anarchy?" Especially given that these things don't exist everywhere in the past or present and the result isn't "total anarchy?"

I'd just like to see you in a blue uniform with a body camera and then we could watch and critique your performance. The only things I expressed in this thread was police union reform, overturning qualified immunity and related court precedents, and eliminating police training that encourages police to see themselves at war with the citizens they hired to serve and protect and while encouraging aggressive interactions with the public. I think this is where it is worth pointing out that I have on dozens and dozens occasions responded to potentially dangerous incidents where either the police were called or would ordinarily be called if a specialist like me did not exist. Your hypothetical that you're amusing yourself with, in a sense, has already happened. And I'm just armed with my words. Like Sgt. Friday from Dragnet.
Psychology. Who would've guessed?

I'm pretty sure that ajax sets the record for me of most dishonest person with whom I've ever conversed. I'm pretty sure he's lying about who he is and what he does. I highly doubt he believes most of the "ideological" nonsense he posts here, as much as parrots crap he's heard on the radio or Fox News. It's like a couple levels of BS with every post: the lies themselves, and the idea he sincerely believes them.
It's hardly surprising he identifies with Trump.

No, he's got a lengthy history of being consistent in his beliefs. He's dishonest in the service of them, but there's a core white supremacist ideology he has held onto for years across multiple contexts with a consistent biography behind it. He's real. A liar who enjoys strawmen like an alcoholic enjoys booze, but real.

I suppose if there's anything he does seem passionate about, it's white supremacy, so I guess that's what I wasn't thinking about when I said "most of the nonsense he says."EAllusion wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 10:34 pmNo, he's got a lengthy history of being consistent in his beliefs. What I'm really getting at is how much of the ideological sounding things he says here come from an addled logic through his own personal experience and how much of it is just crap he's heard other people say. When I question how much he believes it, that's what I'm really talking about. Do you sense he really thinks much for himself? I suspect most of his conclusions come from the raw emotion expressed from other people he considers his own tribe, things he can only relate to on a visceral level.
Obviously, I don't give him much intellectual credit.

President Cuomo had more to say...
Cuomo: Violent Protests Allow Trump 'To Tweet About Looting Rather Than Murder By A Police Officer'

If I'm not mistaken you make pretty good money. Now can you find a thousand people with your ability to do this for $30k/year?I think this is where it is worth pointing out that I have on dozens and dozens occasions responded to potentially dangerous incidents where either the police were called or would ordinarily be called if a specialist like me did not exist. I'd still like to see you in action in Ferguson or Minneapolis unarmed of course. Assuming you could refrain from helping them trash the entire town, I think you'd demonstrate about as much courage as Scot Peterson demonstrated at Stoneman Douglas high school.
