And this is what got you suspended. Maybe you should rethink your parables. :=)

Why? There is a clearly established connection between them.

Most people rejected Jesus' parables too. Should he have rethought (is that a word?) them too?

The crybabies at MAAD do not like the parallels between their founder and Warren Jeffs.

The pathetic truth hurts.

I wonder if the FLDS are drawing parallels with Jeffs recent incarceration and what happened to Smith in his later days?

Anything Jeffs said in court that denies he being a prophet, is, I am sure, taken by his followers the same as the apologist take when Smith "hid" some of his actions.. "lying for the lord".

In my view, the LDS church is the Apostate church and FLDS are the only true adherents to what Smith started and perpetuated by Brigham Young and John Taylor.

Wilford Woodruff lead the church astray.

The founder of the LDS church and the founder of the FLDS church is the same person. So comparisons between Joseph and Jeffs are really not applicable. The more valid comparison would be between Jeffs and Pres Hinckley. And it wasn't WW who led the church astray; it was Joseph Smith.

The moment he said an angel visited him.

LOL When he was out in the woods, holding to his rod, thinking about the angel he saw earlier in town. Suddenly the white salmander jumps out and lands on the ground...

I guess if the problem was the "FLDS" reference, it would have been just as applicable to refer to the RLDS/CoC. The point would be the same.

You're familiar with Godwin's Law, right? That is, you mention Hitler or the Nazis and you've just lost the argument. I think it's really illuminating that Warren Jeffs and the FLDS trigger Godwin's Law in the eyes of the MAD mods. I guess it shows you just what their opinion is of the FLDS. They're as good as Nazis.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen
