temple clothes fugly. ditto ceremony.

Sorry Mishie, I think I've started drifting into an elevated style in my posts as a way to distance myself emotionally from some of the content here---I'm trying to prevent the depression I can easily fall into after reading and thinking about contemporary Mormonism.

Perhaps but you have stated and implied many times that the Temple ceremonies are completely ridiculous and submitted them to intense ridicule. Is the 'pure' version somehow completely sane?

The temple ceremonies are stupid. Masonry is totally different. I am speaking from experience and I would appreciate it if you treat masonic information with respect instead of the flippant way you handle it now.

Okay.....THAT made me laugh. You treat nothing I appreciate with respect. Why are you expecting different treatment?

It was tongue in cheek. I expected your reaction and hope you got a feel for the silliness when Mormons try to act aghast when the temple is discussed.

No, I didn't think it was silly. Just a horrible double-standard.
