Well, it's normal to be outraged when someone lies to you. So there you have it. Also, a Mormon has a self-imposed standard of conduct of humility or some such nonsense, while an ex-Mormon has rejected whatever social norm you're expecting yourself, and apparently others, to possess.
The anger Coggins feels and acts upon goes in direct contravention of what he is supposed to be, and are the antithesis of the kinds of fruits Mormons say the Gospel should bear. His outburts are simply the result of his internal pressure valve letting off some steam; otherwise something truly awful would most likely happen.

While that is true and the Gospel brings peace and joy. However, this is not a place where the Gospel thrives. I mean, as crazy as it sounds there is more of that at MADB (though you could starve on the difference). This is a place where the Gospel is reviled, I hardly expect the fruits of it to be brimming here. I know I would probably live my religion better by not being here. Not because of fear of discussion but because of how many people are intentionally trying to anger me here (Scratch, Merc, PP) and the others who anger me by what I perceive to be weak arguments and cheap blaspheming.
If I were gay I most likely would have responded with greater interest to Scratch's and Merc's interest in me. See how mean this board can make people :)
You're sure you're not gay? I'm pretty certain. by the way, before anyone goes crazy I personally think the most evolved males are homosexuals. I just think Nehor is gay, and wonder if that's why he's, uh, in the boat he's in... Cool that he didn't take offense, though...

I'm confused, what boat am I in? Being called gay hasn't offended me since High School. The word got tossed around so much it lost all meaning like crazy, the r word I should not say, moron, stupid, queer, idiot, flamer, Oklahoman, etc. Sorry, not accurate though.

Well I am willing to give him some slack. But even as a questioning Mormon I am commanded to forgive everyone...period so I am happy to do so. I am not perfect at that but I try hard. I think it is a good practice.
