An Irish priest and a Rabbi get into a car accident. They both get out of their cars and stumble over to the side of the road. The Rabbi says, "Oy vey! What a wreck!" The priest asks him, "Are you all right, Rabbi?" The Rabbi responds, "Just a little shaken." The priest pulls a flask of whiskey from his coat and says, "Here, drink some of this it will calm your nerves." The Rabbi takes the flask and drinks it down and says, "Well, what are we going to tell the police?" "Well," the priest says, "I don't know what your aft' to be tellin' them. But I'll be tellin' them I wasn't the one drinkin'."

J. Golden Kimball:

When addressing concerns about the behavior of the youth, Golden told the congregation not to worry about the young people: "They'll be all right. It's all these old bald-headed b*stards on the front row that you need to look out for."

Most of them can be found at the local pub, referred to by Jesus as "publicans and sinners".

Peter Crawford [Sydney President of the Unitarians]: Yes, the big problem that we have in Australia is not to convince people of our viewpoint, I think great numbers of Australians would be Unitarian in spirit and at heart, that is, they want something more than just a strictly secular world, but at the same time they don’t want to be doctrinally straitjacketed. But the big problem that one has in Australia is just getting anyone to attend anything. It’s extremely difficult to get Australians to attend political party meetings any more for example; it’s very difficult to get them to attend conventional churches; and not least does this reflect in recruiting people into the Unitarian church. This is where the vitality and dynamism of our Asian communities in Australia represent something of an alternative to this.

And God created a new animal to be a companion
for Adam and Eve. And it was a good animal.
And God said, " I have created this new animal to be a
reflection of my love for you, his name will be a reflection
of my own name, and you will call him DOG."
