The claim that its only if we project moral values onto human phenomena that they become "moral" or "immoral" is quite true from a strictly subjective frame of reference. At least this is true in a purely random, meaningless universe in which human beings project such values for no other reason than their brains evolved to such a degree that this is possible.

In a universe in which there is a God and hence, all things are not permitted, however, it isn't true at all, and in many cases is little more than a convenient ruse to mask ulterior motives.

It is interesting that Utah has higher porn consumption than the perverted sodomite states like California and Massachusetts. It seems the brethren are aware of this statistic as they've been emphasizing the evils of porn for the past couple years.

Maybe this is why Utah is also one of the leading states in personal Bankruptcy filings. They're spending too much money on porn.

And maybe this is why Utah leads the nation in anti-depression prescriptions. The women are depressed because their husbands are looking at porn.

An LDS poster on MADB says over 50% of the men in her stake are addicted to porn, according to the stake president. That was for Washington. If 50% of the Mormons in Utah are porn addicts, that explains the study pretty well, I think. At least the Utah porn addicts are honest enough to pay for their porn so it can be recorded in national statistics.

At recent activities, I've heard the youth in our ward make offhand comments that have conveyed to me that the world they are growing up in is very different than the world I grew up in!

Over the last year, I have chaperoned many Scout activities and combined YM/YW activities in my ward. There were several times when the under-16 youth made comments and jokes (even the "good" kids) that showed they were far more comfortable with discussions of masturbation, male/female anatomy, homosexuality, oral sex and other such things than my LDS peers were at that age.
