Because, while you have pronounced me "arrogant" and declared that I don't live the gospel and sought to portray me as an ecclesiastical tyrant who, devoid of charity, exercises unrighteous dominion -- all of that within the past few hours, and much more over the past several years -- I have never, to the best of my recollection, ventured to pronounce moral judgment upon you.
Moral judgment? Calling you arrogant isn't a moral judgment, Daniel. It's a comment on a characteristic of yours that I've observed, as evidenced online over the last 10 years. Heck, it's the first thing I noticed about you. Since when does arrogance have anything to do with morality? If I said you weren't worthy to enter the temple, that would be a moral judgment. I've never done that. I never would. You comment on my characteristics all the time; I comment on yours. How is that a moral judgment from me, but not a moral judgment from you?
And as for living the gospel... none of us do. Those of us who readily acknowledge that and struggle every day with it wouldn't mind it when someone says we aren't measuring up. We mess up; we already know that. It's only those who think they're actually living it that object when someone points out that they aren't.
An ecclesiastical tyrant? We just had this discussion, Daniel. You would deny me what is rightfully mine, based not on the state of my heart, or the state of my testimony, but on my refusal to sustain Joseph after he started his slide to hell via polygamy. Unrighteous dominion? You'll never have the chance. Does that make you an ecclesiastical tyrant? It's something I'll never have to know. You say you aren't, then you turn around and demonstrate how you might be.
Devoid of charity? Towards me? C'mon, Daniel. You portion out charity towards me as if it was gold bullion. Rare, very rare.
