Re: The State of the Economy: Whose fault is it and why?
We have a system that we call capitalism, and it hasn't worked for the betterment of all. We have major billion dollar corporations who do not have to pay taxes, but we add grocery taxes on for the poor to suck up. We do have a class system that nobody wants to talk about. The people in power suck up to lobbyists so that their corporations don't have to pay taxes, and so that the rich of the richest get the breaks. This is our system of capitalism, and if we re-wrote the tax code to be fair, conservatives wouldn't have to bitch so much about the poor people who just can't seem to get off their asses and get rich like they have. Hell, if I was rich, I'd be a republican. Wouldn't you? There are ample ways of providing healthcare for all, and they know it, but it wouldn't get them elected, so they go around spouting ridiculous stuff to get illiterates to vote for them. Like, "My values are pro-life and family oriented." Like “F” they are. Maybe in the womb. Once it's born, screw you, cuz I've got mine, and I don't believe in the common good for the economy. I'm not gonna share, and that's that. Tell it to Wells Fargo, Citigroup, General Electric, Exxon Mobile, and on and on and on. ZERO in taxes, folks, while so many suck up the lines of Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh, who never took an economics class period. Ten years from now, mark my word, we will have zero middle class. Period. And oh, let's elect a conservative and go to war again, for no reason.
