By all means explain it as SP was unable to. I don't think it makes as much sense as the LDS haters think it does (By LDS haters I mean those who hate the religion like you and are prone to view things in such a biased light, at times, that they won't really make sense even when they think they are making the most sense.).
Love ya tons, Stem
I ain't nuttin'. don't get all worked up on account of me.
But, yes. You sound like one of these guys who says that there is Z E R O evidence that Mormonism is true. Which is just flatly false. There is, indeed, evidence for the truthfulness of Mormonism.
Now, the evidence is strained and there is precious little of it... but it DOES exist.
Just as the evidence for bigfoot is strained and there is precious little of it.
But I don't know of any evidence that honestly leads us to think unicorns exist.
Aliens, on the other hand, have quite a large following and the evidences are many. You can interpret them as you see fit.
So it would be more accurate to ask the question whether there is more evidence for bigfoot than for Mormonism. I think these 2 are somewhat on par.

Scottie, I honesty don't think I've ever heard any real evidence for Mormonism. I've heard believers defend Mormonism against evidences that it is not true (there is a lot), but never any good evidence in favor of it.
If you know of some (other than personal testimonies), please post them.
Thanks
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Deleted inappropriate phrase? Give me a f*cking break.

It's been explained. That you've chosen not to acknowledge that leads me to question why I should bother with any additional effort. The point continues to Screw you up the ass without you knowing it.

There is definitely "evidendence" of Mormonism. It is/are the claim(s) of Mormonism that share the same realm as the mythical, yet quite lovely and enchanting unicorn.
1) Five major differing versions of the first vision = unicorn
2) Visiting resurrected beings (Nephi, then later other Biblical prophets) = unicorn
3) Golden plates = similar to a unicorn that one might see in a traveling circus where the guests get to look but not inspect.
4) Egyptian Papyrus = unicorn at circus that was inspected and found to be a horse with a horn glued on.

NHM, Linguistical evidences in the Book of Mormon (river of waters, etc), Chaismas, they found an oasis precicely where Nephi described where Bountiful would be, the signing of the 8 and 11 witnesses, etc.
These are just off the top of my head. Jeff Lindsay has compiled a much more extensive list of the evidences.
Then, of course, intangible evidences, like "Joseph Smith suffered all kinds of persecutions and eventually gave his life for Mormonism! Why would a false prophet do that??" and "Why didn't more people leave the church if they knew Joseph Smith was a false prophet"

Joseph Smith gave us a book about white skinned Native Americans who traveled across the sea and wrote their stories of supernatural adventures on gold plates. He gave us the story of father Abraham in Egypt, and this time gave us the ancient source scrolls. He discovered the Garden of Eden, and told a word of mouth story about 1000 year old Quakers that lived on the moon. If the mob hadn't killed him, there is a good chance he would have written, I mean discovered, a book about unicorns that lived in the Americas, or maybe on the moon. Just think about how close the apologists were to having to defend a belief in unicorns from outer space. The mob actually did the apologists a favor.
