That's creepy.
Seriously? I think its far more interesting than the contemporary version, especially the Madonna and cherub like figures over the veil. I mean those are actual living plants, not fake flowers, and look at the loveseats! There's two of them in that shot! Plus rocking chairs!

It's very interesting all right. Is there a source of natural light in there for the plants? It creeps me out, all the stuff hanging down and the rocking chairs look perfect for ghosts to sit in. And we all know there are plenty of ghosts in the temple, hanging out and waiting for someone to do their work for them, waiting and wailing, help me, help me, help me.
Happy Halloween!

Creepy? Nah. Add a few flappers, a snifter of brandy, and a nice Cuban and you've got yourself a gentleman's club.

The best part of that picture is it just oozes a religion that at the time had doctrine, knew what its doctrine was and best of all, proudly pronounced most of its unique doctrines.
Due to "Temple content" question-Respect intended (I promise)
One of the pictures on this thread had a baptismal font on the backs of 12 oxen: It is my understanding that all LDS Temples have this 12 oxen baptismal font. (?) Is that were the LDS perform baptism for the dead? If so............. How does that process work? Who performs them? Who is being "submerged" in the dead peoples place (I assume that someon is being fully submerged, yes?)
