Pirro's demeanor on television is the closest I have ever seen to a real-life version of Lewis Prothero from "V for Vendetta." I would give that dubious honor to Alex Jones, but Jones is too surreal. Pirro sneers and spits venom and anger into the television camera. She does real harm to civil discourse.

Whether she realizes it or not, she does real harm to Trump as well. Not that he needs support. I've never seen her on television before this. She almost seemed like a parody of something.

So strange that one is.

I still wonder what Democrat Michelle Obama was talking about when she said, "When they go low, we go high." Even if Pirro was overbearing in her demeanor, it didn't warrant the out of bounds response from Goldberg. How is that taking the high road? I don't see anything in the Breitbart article that's untrue.

I tried looking the show up but my daughter's got a cold, business at the office has been picking up with back to school coming soon and I just don't think it warrants any more of my time. I appreciate the substance and civility of your response in contrast to the real evil that I've seen from most of the rest on this board.

Ajax just showed us who he is. Believe him, everyone. Believe him.

Professor Snape,

When I start seeing liberals change their behavior, I'll change my opinion of them and abandon old stereotypes. I'm not going to let people like Schreech brow beat me into believing the sky is in fact red, not blue.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Your behavior is your responsibility and your choice. Do the right thing now. No one else deserves the blame or credit for what you do. Your racist sentiments do you no credit, regardless of your excuses.

It was an aspirational statement that largely reflects the political style of her husband and was meant to contrast against the egregious nastiness of Donald Trump.. Taking it to mean, "All liberals and Democrats are always perfectly civil in all political engagements" is really obtuse. You could read in the phrase "we're better than that" and it would mean the same thing. The full quote makes this crystal clear, as she's talking about what she tries to see as the ideal way to handle a figure like Trump in the context of advice to her children.

"How we urge them [her children] to ignore those who question their father's citizenship or faith. How we insist that the hateful language that they hear from public figures on TV does not represent the true spirit of this country. How we explain that when someone is cruel or acts like a bully, you don't stoop to their level. No, our motto is, when they go low, we go high."

There is a leftist equivalent of this. As news of child internment camps poured out, and even now as we see more and more reports of how children were tortured in said interment camps, there's people who react to that by saying, "This isn't America." There's a certain kind of douchebag leftist who responds to that reaction by saying something like, "Actually, when you look at the American history of racial violence, this is all too American." Like, it never occurred to them that when a person says, "This isn't America" what they mean is that this isn't an aspirational ideal of Americanism that we ought to have.

The article is incomplete. It doesn't tell the full story.

Starts at 23:18. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsGCMfcvrzM

Prior to this, Goldberg claims that Pirro was cussing out folks in front of the audience, and after this Goldberg cussed her out off camera.

Here is Goldberg's explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrXJSUiwqWY

Let me be more clear. During the segment, Pirro was acting like an overbearing, condescending bitch to the cast. On camera.
