Hi Ceeboo. Nice to see you back. Would you mind specifying which parts of the thread you find hilarious?

Are you kidding? Ceeboo doesn't answer questions. He just laughs and posts memes.

Republicans were just caught red-handed being deceptive about a creating a sham justification for changing the census when the underlying rationale was described internally as a means reduce the voting power of non-whites. If our country wasn't broken, that would be the scandal of the century.

One of the many threads in which subs suddenly vanishes from sight.

He'll be back in a month saying the same thing though.

Don’t mind KG, Ceeboo, you and I have had some good conversations in the past and I’m hoping that this is the beginning of another.

This so thoroughly misunderstands what Martin Luther King was saying and what his politics were about that it immediately flags people of using this reasoning as profoundly ignorant or acting in bad faith.

Did you know Martin Luther King was a devout Christian as well? I'm sure the left would like to bury the fact that their civil rights champion was foolish enough to believe in God.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

You say that as if it was some sort of surprise. And, no, I don’t want to bury that fact. Damn, those chips on your shoulder must weigh a ton. Why don’t you give yourself a bit of a break and put them down?

that's not what the article claims, not what the facts support, and we are still left with an unsupported claim.... except, as predicted, you guys are starting to hint at the traditional Democrat brand of racism.
maybe read the Times article again and then get back to us.

Meanwhile, back in reality:

Mr. Hofeller’s exhaustive analysis of Texas state legislative districts concluded that such maps “would be advantageous to Republicans and non-Hispanic whites,” and would dilute the political power of the state’s Hispanics.

The reason, he wrote, was that the maps would exclude traditionally Democratic Hispanics and their children from the population count.

Reading is fundamental.
