Well, now you know. You’re welcome.
Yes, now we know that it was not "heard" so much as fantasized. The poster's thinly veiled attempt at establishing credibility for their assertion is admirable only to low hanging fruit readers like yourself.

Hey, you’re the fellow who is fully invested in a full slate of Clinton and Obama conspiracy theories. You’re the conspiracy hair-fire king of the forum. It looks a bit silly for you to be scolding anyone else about such behavior.

For the most part. There is a lot wrong with Trump, I'm not saying there isn't. But since he upsets the establishment (which I think is a big part of the problem) I like it when he blunders and drives the media and other political scumbags crazy.
But to say he has done the most of this or that or told the most lies blah blah blah, that's just useless analysis. All presidents and politicians flat out lie and deceive. By singling out and complaining about Trump as "the most" of this or that, just says how messed up we really are - because apparently, we are all okay with some level of lying and deception. But when it gets to some arbitrary amount or topic, panties start bunching. That's screwed up.
We are either okay with lies and deceptions, or we aren't. To argue some middle ground because the lies are only about war, or spousal infidelity, or Obamacare, or what happened on the tarmac, holds no credibility and doesn't allow you to take the moral high ground (I'm better than you because I only accept a half bucket of crap, whereas you accept a full bucket!) Trump has told lies, Obama told lies, Bush told lies, Clinton told lies, etc etc etc. You can justify the topic or the subject or minimize the impact of it. Whatever. It just proves that our politicians only care about money, power, and themselves. We should hate and oppose all liars and all deceivers.
I don't see anyone suggesting they are ok with a certain amount of lying or corruption. While corruption and lying have a rich history in politics, there has been a long history of holding politicians accountable when they get caught. Either by the law if their behavior is illegal or by the electorate. What is concerning about Trump is we knew a lot of this long before he was elected, yet a lot of people still voted for him. You bring up infidelity, which is not illegal, but many voters claimed was important for their vote, and was a huge concern about Bill, but ignored when it came to Trump. In the past infidelity has brought down a lot of politicians.

Yeah, I'm used to this kind of rhetoric from Trump apologists. Sure, you're not a fan, but you're willing to turn a blind eye because (insert partisan reason).
You act like people have never complained about corruption before Trump came along. (Which is quite the eye-roller... Republicans make crap up about Democrats just so they can complain about it). Could it be the proportion of complaining about Trump is commensurate with his crimes, maybe? (I guess I'm asking you to stretch and think outside the box here).

I've just got to say - this is some lazy-ass thinking. It's much easier to throw all politicians in a bucket marked "corrupt" than to actually make an assessment of each one on their own merits.
I wonder if you'll be so lazy next time a Democrat is president.

Sure, but he really needs to step it up a notch to be in the same league as yourself. He’d need another decade’s worth of hard effort to even get close. ; )

well, the important thing is Gunnar is trying...just lacks the commitment, the tenacity.... To borrow from Einstein..."stick with it longer"

Gunnar wrote:I have seen and heard speculation that if defeated in 2020's general election, Trump might, in order to prevent indictment and imprisonment for crimes he committed before his election, resign during the last month of his presidency, so that Pence will become interim President just long enough to pardon Trump for his crimes, before the newly elected president takes over. I wouldn't put it past him to do just that.
hey idiota, where did you hear this?
canpakes wrote:You can certainly find sources for this speculation on Google. You know how to use Google, right?
Given the crimes and fraud we are already sure he has committed and is already being investigated for, I honestly don't see how he can otherwise avoid being at least indicted and brought to trial on various charges after being voted out of office next year. If he is reelected, however (heaven forbid!), he may be able to outlast the statute of limitations on some the crimes for which he is being investigated.

No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.
