I’m not necessarily a creedal Christian. I’m not even sure what you mean by that label.
C’mon, Limnor. You’re being coy with me. You’re a smart guy (although that was disguised somewhat in a couple of other threads recently).
And, you know what the LDS Church’s theology is. If not, go to the church’s website.
You know and I know the Triune God invented over time was a corruption of the God in the Bible. That needed a course correction.
It has been made.
It took some work, but we got there. Brings a whole new light to having been created in the image of God that I believe may have been corrupted and lost through the philosophies of men.
Honestly, what you said in your last post doesn’t make sense to me. More explanation?

There are numerous things you could have meant by the Restoration. Priesthood authority, ordinances, church organization, revelation, scripture, or the nature of God. I wasn’t asking you to explain Mormonism. I was asking you to identify what you were claiming had been lost and restored. Now that you’ve identified the nature of God, we can actually examine that claim.
I’m not being coy. I affirm the Trinity, but that doesn’t mean I align to the authority of historical church councils. And no, we don’t both know that the Trinity was a corruption of biblical Christianity. That’s your assertion, not a fact.
Here’s what I find interesting. You regard the development of Trinitarian theology as evidence of corruption, yet regard the development of Joseph Smith’s theology between 1830 and 1844 as evidence of restoration.
Why is theological development corruption in one case and revelation in the other?
