The biggest thing wrong with this country in terms of the pandemic is that the current administration had no strategic plan in place with which to respond to it.

Yes, and had the shutdown really been as rigorously and uniformly applied as in most of the developing countries of the world, we would probably have done as well as they did in flattening the curve, and would, like them, be well on our way to successfully opening up our economy and approaching near normality--not to mention preventing as many as 100,000 or more avoidable deaths.

And Ajax still cannot deny, nor has he even tried to deny, the incontrovertible fact that no other national government on earth (with the possibility of Bolsonaro in Brazil) has handled the pandemic response worse than the Trump administration. There is simply no way to escape or spin away the damning fact that our nation, with only 4.5% of the word's population has nearly a quarter of all the confirmed coronavirus cases and deaths from it!

I think it is more than fair to say that nothing has done more to damage our prestige, respect and leadership in the world than Donald J. Trump and his mishandling of the pandemic crisis.

Again, the fact Biden is successfully able to have a wide lead without major campaigning over Trump who is the incumbent with every opportunity to write the narrative is an indictment of Trump. You are missing the point.

Interesting. Given we can look around the world and see having smart rapid, aggressive responses to the outbreak allowed countries to open up and resume near normal activity while we followed our leader in rushing to reopen and are now in terrible shape, I'd say your opinion lacks support.
