You're right. Something is wrong with my computer.
When I search "pictures++insane religious idiot who posts under the name Droopy" these two images keep popping up:
I'm guessing the first picture is Droopy before he converted to Mormonism...

This is by far the funniest thing you have ever said. I half expect you to have passed away by the time I post this, as you could never possibly dream of topping this.
Isn't it interesting what deep, unresolved childhood conflicts, unrelieved self absorption, and impotent hatred directed against God and the external universe within which we are embedded can produce?
Nothing is going to startle us more when we pass through the veil to the other side than to realize how well we know our Father [in Heaven] and how familiar his face is to us

I am so old that I can remember when most of the people promoting race hate were white.
See what I was talking about with doin' it for the LULZ, GoodK? Feels good, don't it...

I take it back, GoodK. You're an all right dude...

Let me simply part by apologizing for everything I am, everything I have, and everything I've done.
Just for the sake of convenience, Daniel, would you like to offer up an extended apology for everything you are yet to be, yet to have/acquire and for what you will do in the future?
Drat. You're right. I failed to address the future.
In addition to my past and present, already covered, I hereby offer an apology in advance for everything I'm yet to be, for everything I will yet have, and for everything I will do in the future.
(Thanks, Jersey Girl, for catching that omission. It could have had grave repercussions.)
This is somewhat off-topic, I just wanted people to see it before it gets moved...
My step-sister who goes to school in Utah came down with a bad infection and was very seriously ill, to the point where my mother and step-father told me she may not make it. After a week in the hospital, she is doing better, but I went to my email inbox to find that I was CC'd on the following email from my step-father - needless to say he's one of the F.A.R.M.S cronies and what I consider to be a Mormon Blowhard:
Hello Family, Friends, Colleagues, Students, and Saints:
There are several reasons we have seen what was a very ominous situation become a very hopeful situation. First and foremost, if her cousin, *****, had not followed her premonition to check on **** last Monday, and then get her to the hospital, we might be having a very different (and tragic) report to give you.
We are certain that the prayers and positive thoughts offered by so many people played a significant and profound part in ****'s healing. Also, the many expressions of concern, hope, and love offered by many people that contacted us via email, telephone, and text messaging, enabled ***** to know that you are all rooting for her, and this gave her (and us) strength.
Also, in our LDS faith community, we give actual priesthood blessings by the laying on of hands as discussed in the New Testament and elsewhere, and ***** was the recipient of several of these. I was present for some of them and was struck by the amazing power and faith of one David ****, a Melchizedek Priesthood holder and a man without guile, who boldly rebuked the very disease that brought harm to our daughter.
And something more: members of our congregation back in California, along with others, fasted on behalf of her, and we believe this had a profound effect in opening the heavens and receiving a miracle.....
I want to ask him why God decided to give this poor girl such a horrible disease, or why the priesthood blessings didn't cure her outright, and so on...
Now, what we see here is that, in a profound time of fear, uncertainty, and family crisis, with the life and well being of a family member in the balance, Goodk took this opportunity to launch a scathing and cynical attack on the faith and religious convictions of his Father and family. Goodk, with Dawkins, Hitchens, and O'Hair in tow, just couldn't resist venting his own internal frustrations and inner conflicts on his Father and his Father's religion in a time of family crisis.
How noble.
(Emphasis added)
Um, it sounds like the crisis had already passed by the time he posted this.
Kind of takes the wind out of whatever point you think you were making.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
People who have the hubris to declare they have the One True Church and the One True Priesthood with the One True Power to Heal ought not to have such extraordinarily thin skins. I mean, really, this is such a horrific attack????
Interesting that one who has the hubris to assert that God does not exist would accuse others, who simply humbly testify that he does, of hubris.
One wonders why simply making the claim to having the one true church implies hubris? There is a one true physics, mathematics, and chemistry, yet no one accuses physicists, mathematicians, or chemists of hubris when they assert as much.
Why the discrepancy?
LOL... sometimes, I'm still amazed by your stupidity. Sometimes I suspect you're trying to appear stupid. Could anyone whose parents are unrelated have this much trouble seeing simple logic? (Hmmm... now I'm wondering about your parents...)
There's no evidence of god. Therefore, to say there is implies the same hubris as does claiming Santa exists. If there's no evidence, saying something doesn't exist is the default position, not hubris.
And the discrepancy between god/church claims and physics, mathematics, and chemistry claims is, again, the difference in the bodies of evidence. Is it really that difficult to understand the difference? If so, you are even dumber than I thought possible.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
I hesitate to post on another stupid thread about this over beaten topic.
Here is the deal:
1: Goodk was unwise for publicly posting something that would hurt and humiliate his father and family. But his question about God and suffering was not invalid and is often asked be even the faithful.
2: Crockett and Dan Peterson should have let it alone. It did no good for anyone to share such information. Since both are bishops it seems this would be obvious as they both here things in confidence all the time that can be very hurtful if it is not kept as such.
That is all I have to say. Droop it would be better off to leave this one alone anymore than that in my opinion. But I know you do not think much of my opinion so carry on.
