I'm glad to hear it.

My wife and I just finished watching the 1940 Pride and Prejudice, starring Laurence Olivier and Greer Garson (from a screenplay by, of all people, Aldous Huxley).

I'm glad to have seen it, but once is enough. I thought it was a bit of a travesty. They butchered the plot of the Jane Austen novel. The BBC miniseries is much to be preferred.

This thread was about DCP's Animal Cruelty Allegations, well as animal cruelty can be applied to any animal and DCP has already owned up to being cruel to animals even though denying abducting Buffy, I think it is safe to say these allegations are no longer mere allegations and that this thread is proof in itself that DCP IS indeed cruel to animals.

I find this is most often the case. The Brits are brilliant at drama. Check out Masterpiece Theatre for some fine work. Foyle's War is my current favourite with many other series right up there too. Of course, personal favourites depend on your taste.
