LOL!
"And I've said it before, you want to know what Joseph Smith looked like in Nauvoo, just look at Trump." - Fence Sitter
The only worthy thing that I found in the article is when she was on her deathbed. Usually on the deathbed people can speak the truth. Sarah said: If Mormonism is not true then there is no truth on earth.
How to explain that comment? Here we have a woman who confessed unbelief suddenly claim belief. Plus, she reportedly experienced all those experiences at the hands of Joseph Smith. I think that we are dealing with a very complicated woman in Sarah Pratt. But she has her story to tell and I have nothing to judge her by. It is her story.
I said that there were two reasons for polygamy: raising a righeous seed and a test of faith. Here is an article that stresses the test of faith:
Sarah failed the test. Now if I were sarah I would have stayed in Nauvoo with Emma and lived my life. But for some strange reason she headed west with the polygamists. Why?
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world. Joseph Smith We are “to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all…” Joseph Smith

Very easily. That's why so many ex-Mormons become atheists. Their, in my opinion faluty reasoning is, "if Mormonism isn't true, then God doesn't exist".
You have mentioned several times that Joseph did not want to go through with polygamy, and, in fact, didn't, until the flaming sword incident. But, didn't the flaming sword incident occur after Fanny?
He certainly didn't have a problem consummating his "marriage" to Fanny.
And why would he just jump forward and practice something like that without talking to Emma about it first? She was included in everything else. If he was really that "troubled" by it, why go behind her back?

Wait, wait.....Joseph Smith slept with Fanny before polygamy was restored? Do Mormons know this???

He slept with a great many of his plural wives before polygamy was restored.
Do Mormons know this???
No. They generally don't even know he was a polygamist.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Because she had a lot to lose - her husband and children.
Why do some women stay in bad marriages or with an unfaithful spouse?
To keep the family together, to have a husband to help provide for the children -- although Orson Pratt was not a very good provider for Sarah, and later had many wives to provide for. Orson was always banished far away to some mission or other -- never around to provide for his many wives and children.

I said that Joseph Smith acted like a man in a hurry for two years when he married many women from 1841 to 1843. Before that, he was going about it rather slow. Thus, the flaming sword incident and the pressure.
But as my quotations stressed, he was not a happy camper about it all. And if one looks at it from an angel understanding, we can see the great sacrifice that he made by obeying the will of god. He lost his life.

Following her story we see that she did not gain very much by going west. She would have been better in Nauvoo. Also, Sarah was ranting and raving about the LDS church out west. Even some of her children became appalled by polygamy and left the church. Why did she stay? I think that it was because she couldn't let go of the LDS church, either as a persecutor or as a faithful member. She had difficulties in Salt Lake with money too.

Pretty stoopid argument. in my opinion.
I think that the comment is self-explanatory. On her deathbed, she told how she felt about Mormonism. On her deathbed, she was a believer.
