Try to put aside all the dumb/stupid/idiots for just a moment (you can always go back there) and spend a few moments concentrating on your political preferences and the party that represents them. Some Schmo wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 8:56 amthis idea that Democrats need to do some sole searching is damned dumbass BS.
Think of the election like an NFL game: If your team were to lose by the final score of 58 to 3, what, if anything, should the losing team (and/or you) do after the game is over? Should they/you spend their time and effort calling the other team players names? Should they/you point fingers at the people in the stands? Should they/you attempt to paint their QB as a complete loser who can't throw the ball 10 feet (after he just threw for 6 TD's and over 400 yards?) No, that would be foolish.
The wise thing to do would be to concentrate on your team - the team that just lost the game 58 to 3. You ought to be looking at your QB, your coaching staff, your GM, your play calling, your pregame strategy. You need to be spending a significant amount of time and effort watching game film to try to understand why your team just got trounced.
Then, you need to do the most important thing: You need to make adjustments - Maybe get new players - Perhaps fire a coach or two - come up with a different strategy. Call different plays. Why? Because if you don't, and if you take the exact same product - with the exact same strategy - with the same players - calling the same plays, and put them on the playing field again, you will get very similar results.
Lastly, as it relates to your comments about Democrats needing to do some soul searching (not "sole" as you wrote), I would suggest that it is not "damned dumbass BS", rather, such an exercise would be really smart, potentially beneficial, and perhaps exactly what is needed in order to attract more American citizens to the party.
Just a thought.
