Many here are no doubt familiar with Walter Martin, who has been the target of a great deal of Mopologetic scorn. Indeed, it was Martin who "leaked" the gang-style tactics of the l-skinny crew.

Is there anything remotely odd that Scratch has now aligned himself with one of the now long ago exposed preeminent moral frauds and intellectual hacks of the 20th century?

Remotely?

but, if Martin's supporters were circulating a false faith-promoting story about the manner of his passing, I can see why some might have chosen otherwise.

If it had been Joseph Smith rather than Walter Martin, and if it had been the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints spreading the (per hypothesis) false faith-promoting story about his passing, anybody revealing the far less edifying truth about the circumstances of his death would have been celebrated by many he

I can see why some might have chosen otherwise also, bad people do things like this. It as well might be true that if the shoe were on the other foot that some critics would do the same -- do their ethics determine your ethics; or in this case, should the would-be ethics of the critics determine the ethics of Barker?

Sorry Droopy, but did Mister Scratch say that he had accepted a position with SHIELDS? I might have missed that.

A very interesting and entertaining OP, Mr. Scratch. Am I the only one who is wondering why being in the bathroom and being in a praying position are necessarily mutually exclusive options?

The report says that he died of a heart attack, and was found slumped over on his head in front of the toilet. Maybe he felt the attack coming on and knelt in front of the toilet to pray one last time.

I don't see anything indicating any intellectual or ethical problems at SHIELDS. Neither Scratch nor the infamous "Dr." Martin can make the same claims, however.

Well, there you have it. SHIELDS has been unequivocably damned to hell. Droopy approves of it.

You're exactly right. Mister Scratch and Dr. Martin indeed cannot claim that they don't see anything indicating any intellectual or ethical problems at SHIELDS, just like you said.

Quick Droopy, now say you approve of Harmony. The results should be most gratifying.

This is a well-coined phrase. I think it deserves some time as my new sig. Thanks, Dr. P!
