Best wishes on getting into the PhD program of your choice.
Who were your Greek teachers at BYU?
“I was hooked from the start,” Snoop Dogg said. “We talked about the purpose of life, played Mousetrap, and ate brownies. The kids thought it was off the hook, for real.”

Some people can be bright and have no formal education. My brother was a child prodigy, really intelligent and he doesn't have any qualifications beyond high school. Then there is people who have disabilities like autism who can be so bright it's amazing.
in my opinion, what matters more is where you are going, not where you have been.

How do you think MAD posters measure up against this poll?
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Don't know. I'd have to see a similar poll over there, although some posters here post over there as well. Is the intention to argue that this board is better educated?
I have a B.A. in Political Science (concentration: Political Theory). I also took enough economics courses that I would have earned a minor at most other schools, but my university unfortunately had no econ minor.
I found out about a week ago that I got into one of my favorite law schools, so I'll be going there in September.

Since I'm the originator of the poll (and probably among the least educated here) I think I can answer that question. It would be foolhardy to try to make a comparison, considering the disparate numbers posting here, and there. Though having some 50+ respondents is unusually higher than most polls I've seen here, some of it is undoubtedly due to MAD Mormons who also post here, as you note. So it was not intended as a "comparison". For a relatively small board, however, the "educational flow" is quite high (regardless of background). Not that I think education ensures plain common sense.
I recall answering this poll. My answer was PhD. I do not have a PhD but I thought it would be great if most everyone answered as professional, masters, or phd.
