The person who told me about it said I would learn a lot of interesting things on this message board. I think I'm finally beginning to understand what he meant. It's the people here who are so interesting.
I agree.
Yeah, Rambo can be a weiner.
haha a weiner! I'm not angry, that just made me laugh.
Did any of you get asked if you have sex with animals? I hear that used to be a standard question, especially for rural Utah/Idaho kids. I think it was before my time, though.

I've apologized for overreacting Mattie's post, which I read the same way Rambo did. But I was mostly referring to bcspace when I said that about delegitimizing, which I think is one of his primary goals in talking to us miserable apostates.
You might consider giving this board a little longer to digest. (Perhaps it is not for you and I would certainly understand that)
Among an enormous list of things that you might find some value in, I have found value in the fascinating perspective that you can get while taking a glimpse into the human minds/thoughts of people who once KNEW that the LDS Church was true and now KNOW that there is no God/Creator at all. (LDS to Atheist. A very sad and far to common scenario. IMHO)
Indeed there are many X-LDS people here but there are also a decent amount of believer's (Of all brands), many agnostics, and a wide variety of perspectives/thoughts to weigh, consider, and digest.
What you did say is that you were never asked, and you doubt your brothers ever were, either. Why would you say that if you thought we were being truthful? I'm not obsessed with masturbation and don't talk about it much, if ever. But it was and is an obsession in the church, and it comes up all the time in interviews, whether or not you doubt it.
Truth is, mattie and my experience is just as legitimate as yours. Its quite obvious she was surprised by this and not trying to say anyone lied. I think people over-reacted to her posts here and that only shows now that some stupid asnine thread is started polling about her.
Love ya tons, Stem
I ain't nuttin'. don't get all worked up on account of me.

I've never said your experience or Mattie's is illegitimate. I'm happy you were never asked that. I wish I had your bishops.

Good luck with the communication with him because I can't do it.
