This misguided progressive perspective fails to recognize that Black and Latino individuals are not a monolith; rather, they see them merely as a voting bloc for the Democrats, not as unique individuals. This aligns precisely with what I have been articulating on this board for months.

For those who may not watch the video, let me describe what these two progressives, who are vocally expressing their disdain for Charlie Kirk, look like. A white man with a rainbow backpack yells at a person of color in the crowd at the vigil, accusing them of being a sellout to their community. The second individual is an overweight white man with purple and blue hair, shouting at both the attendees of the vigil and the police officers present.

Reflect on this scenario, and also, I urge you to think about the discussion initiated by Fibber Wang Chung yesterday, which involved a bait and switch that disrespected the 2,983 individuals who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Both serve as a clear illustration of why many black men, Latino men, Latino women, Asian men, Indian men, and others chose to vote for Trump. These two examples of progressives, particularly the extreme white progressive men, are effectively pushing democrats and independents toward the republican party.

The two men in this video, Fibber Wang Chung, Fibber Marcus, DrCamnPP, Bishop Schmo, Molok, and now, even Gunnar, seem to be deeply entrenched in a particular ideological perspective. Their apparent inability to recognize the importance of humanity, humility, and compassion contributes to the current political landscape, including being the number one reason Trump is in the White House. Trump capitalized on your lack of understanding and compassion to ascend to the presidency.

I mean, who needs to study complex voter trends, economic data, or decades of political maneuvering when you have a video of two people? So, no, you don’t know who it is or why they did it. You have blurry pictures of some person and you have heard that bullet casings with such a message have been found. I have yet to see pictures of them. What I have seen is a call for authoritarian repression of a large swath of the country because one radical extremist was murdered. I condemn the murder. I also condemn the calls to suspend the Constitution in an opportunistic quest for poorly aimed revenge. I have never seen a modern US political movement that was so brazenly irresponsible in my life. There has been a string of political attacks and murders. Many of those attacked were Democrats. Many of the attackers were Republicans or Trump supporters. Not knowing who the perp is, or why they did it, the MAGA party seems poised to abandon the Constitution in retribution for one person’s awful murder.

Maybe after Hound rewatches his video of a Latino man being attacked and pulled off of a bicycle by Kirk fans, he can explain why HBCUs across several states are suddenly receiving a rash of call-in threats.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — A series of reported threats toward historically Black colleges and universities across the U.S. on Thursday led to lockdown orders, canceled classes and heightened security.

Authorities did not elaborate on the type of threats that were made and no injuries have been reported. The FBI told The Associated Press that they are taking the “hoax threat calls“ seriously and that there is “no information to indicate a credible threat.”

Although lockdowns have since been lifted, schools that received the threats continue to act with an abundance of caution. In an era of mass shootings — and following a wave of violence Wednesday and a spate of hoax calls about active shooters at the start of the school year — some universities opted to call off classes for the rest of the week and send students home.

U.S. Rep. Troy Carter, a Louisiana Democrat, called the threats “reprehensible attacks” and said that any threat made against HBCUs is “a threat against us all.”
