I couldn’t agree more with the idea that one’s eternal standing is between an individual and the Lord, and I certainly wouldn’t presume to judge it.
While I wholeheartedly agree with Paul, it is evident that Mormon teachers may have a differing opinion concerning those honorable people who decline to give quite everything the Lord requires.
Joseph Fielding Smith: “Of course, those who enter the telestial kingdom, and those who enter the terrestrial kingdom will have the eternal punishment which will come to them in knowing that they might, if they had kept the commandments of the Lord, have returned to his presence as his sons and his daughters. This will be a torment to them, and in that sense it will be hell.”
John A. Widtsoe: “Those who dwell in the lower may look wistfully to the higher as we do here. The hell on the other side will be felt in some such way.”

God, via his Apostles, is pleading for senior members to serve a senior mission. Senior members are saying no to God. They are refusing to trust him. Those kinds of doubters and slackers won’t be in the Celestial Kingdom, there ain’t no way.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.
Here’s the thing, by failing to serve a senior mission, he will be ensuring that he only attains a lesser kingdom in the eternities. And it will be the same kingdom that we are allocated. The eternal schadenfreude will be delicious.
Baptism is the requirement to enter the lower degrees in the Celestial Kingdom. One must perform the Senior Mission to get to the highest degree within the Celestial Kingdom. So, MG can still wave at us people down below.
Shulem and questions.are there actually church doctrines I am unaware which teach this? . It sounds like personal speculation to me. Shulem I saw you make a reference to church doctrine but it was about Celestial marriage not senior missions.

Huck, I was being entirely facetious about the requirement to perform a Senior Mission in order to get into the highest degree of the Celestial glory. I'm sorry that confused you. My apologies.

Whew! Glad you clarified that. I thought I was a goner.
