The FLDS have been the ones bold enough to stand fast and do God's will, even against all of Satan's raging and trying to destroy the church!

The LDS are the ones that have succumbed to the demands of men.

It is an argument that bears some weight.

If they had any legitimate claim to the Priesthood keys that might mean something.

They do. John Taylor laid his hands on the heads of three or so men in St. George and ordained them to continue the practice of polygamy should the mainstream church ever give it up. "Allred" was the last name of one of them; I can't remember the others' names.

The record of this commission is in the possession of the First Presidency.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

I knew that the "authoritay" was passed down but not clear as to the specifics. This is truly amazing. Technically they are still mainstream Mormon if we were to go on priesthood lineage.

D&C 121: 37
37 That they may be conferred upon us, it is true; but when we undertake to cover our sins, or to gratify our pride, our vain ambition, or to exercise control or dominion or compulsion upon the souls of the children of men, in any degree of unrighteousness, behold, the heavens withdraw themselves; the Spirit of the Lord is grieved; and when it is withdrawn, Amen to the priesthood or the authority of that man.
We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light. - Plato
