I've answered that.
Please pay attention. I'm not going to repeat myself.
Actually, I always pay attention when reading one of your posts. (and you repeat yourself often, usually when posting to Scratch or Joey).
So, no, you said why others were on the list (which I fully understand, having had a bit of conversation with a few of them myself), but not why Dr Midgley wasn't on the list (which I don't understand, never having had any conversation with him myself).
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Scratch that's not fair to Bob Mccue, don't lump him in with Kevin Graham as if Kevin is a respected debater. If you respect him then that just shows where your head is at.
If DCP doesn't want to discuss/debate with Kevin, I find that quite understandable. Who would want to when he spends most of the time playing dishonest games of distortion, attacks, poisoning the well and he typically is pulling crap off Christian apologist web sites and doesn't know what he's talking about.
Now Mccue in another story, he's not arrogant, he is intelligent and I've never seen him play dishonest games in discussion.

And the unfair attacks on Kevin Graham (Dart.), by the few hard core believing atheists around here, unfortunately keep continuing around here. I do believe that Kevin Graham (Dart.) is a much more respected debater, than the few hard core atheists debaters around here.

The issue I brought up is that it is plainly understandable why DCP wouldn't want to discuss with Kevin, and it has nothing to do with chickening out. And secondly, Kevin is a type of debater, essentially the antithesis of McCue, so Kevin shouldn't be grouped with him as an equal in debate/discussion. I'm sure there are atheists on here who argue much like kevin, that is resort to attacks, excessive dishonest discussion game playing etc. instead of addressing issues, but that's irrelevant to Scratch's accusation which I disagree with.

I'm sure he's big enough to endure opposition. No need for you to feel especially protective of him.

I have to say that I would describe Quinn neither as a "cultural Mormon" nor as an atheist.
Professor Midgley, as is his wont, goes well out of his way to attack others, here resorting to innuendo.
“A scholar said he could not read the Book of Mormon, so we shouldn’t be shocked that scholars say the papyri don’t translate and/or relate to the Book of Abraham. Doesn’t change anything. It’s ancient and historical.” ~ Hanna Seariac
My sense of Bob McCue is that he is moving on from all of the ex-Mormon hullaballoo. I could be wrong. Aside from his criticism of Mormonism, which occupies less and less of his time these days, he is genuinely interested in his own search for truth and meaning. He wants to understand things. I can't imagine him pulling half of the crap certain other people do. He just doesn't desperately need to be right all of them time in that way.

I am not a big Midgley fan. He is an intelligent guy, and on occasion I have read things by him that I genuinely enjoyed and was benefited by. I just don't particularly understand this need to confront anti-Mormons publicly in a way that makes him look bad. Of course, this is my opinion, but I think it is fair to say that it wasn't Grant Palmer who looked worse for Midgley's heckling at the book signing. It was Midgley who made himself look bad.
But it is not like I hate the guy or consider him an enemy. I just find him really puzzling.
