Stem, I've been thinking about your attempts to 'remove hostility' from the boards posts and, for what it's worth, here's my considered view.
The board has behaviour guidelines and as long as posters behave within these guidelines all is well. You appear to want to alter behaviour above and beyond the existing board guidelines to be more in keeping with what you and your sensibilities deem appropriate. That's being self absorbed and controlling (even if not deliberately so). People come here to discuss things freely in a style and manner of their own choosing, but within the guidelines of the board.
I am happy for you to discuss the subject matter and substance of posts I make, but comment on my tone or hostility and I will ignore you.
Is this board hostile towards LDS posters...?

I think the most hostile people are the Mopologists. God forbid a cafeteria TBM disagree with one. Watch out.

I think you have misjudged me and have offered an unfair characterization, but with that said, I appreciate you at least giving it a thought. I tried to explain my position and effort and it seems to have been at least partially misunderstood by you.
Peace to you.
Love ya tons,

Actually, being an active and dedicated LDS individual I have noticed that the people here are not hostile to other people. Sure, there may be hostility if someone expresses a nasty viewpoint (and that goes both ways) but I have noticed that a devout and analytical LDS person's lifespan is not very long at a couple of the allegedly pro-Mormon discussion boards that get mentioned here quite often.

That would be a good policy for us all to follow with regard to Stem. His only real agenda on this board is to make everything about himself, and he succeeds in that way too often.

You know, you're right. I think it would be much better if we made it about someone like you, LM. You're much more interesting, have no problem understanding what others write, and you don't post near enough, so I've decided on a new mission to improve the board: from now on, whenever stem tries to make it about him, I'm going to make it about you.
Love your avatar. Butters is the bomb! What do you have to say about that!?
