I am uncertain if this is indeed our last chance to get it right. Trump has the propensity to generate dozens on new scandals between now and 2024. With each new scandal, Trump can order the withholding of information and we could accord him reasonable doubt and argue for due process.

I am uncertain if this is indeed our last chance to get it right. Trump has the propensity to generate dozens on new scandals between now and 2024. With each new scandal, Trump can order the withholding of information and we could accord him reasonable doubt and argue for due process.
I know this is tongue in cheek, but to be clear, the argument is that if maximum pressure isn't applied in the case of Trump trying to undermine election integrity (again), then Trump is likely to try to undermine election integrity going forward. You can't "impeach him at the ballot box" if the elections themselves are compromised.
Trump may do that anyway, but your best chance to thwart it is to create as much public scrutiny as possible while there is still time.
Or by covering Trump’s increasingly unhinged and dishonest attacks as though they might be rooted in some kernel of truth. Along the way more and more journalists, Democrats, and regular voters will absorb the euphemisms that we have already seen applied to this story: That Trump merely sought an investigation of Biden, that his goal was to obtain “opposition research” from Ukraine. On our current path, the plain reality of what has happened will be lost to millions of voters in a miasma of scandal and dueling accusations, with no easy way for them to discern true ones from fabrications.

This is exactly why I talk about Trump and his supporters in the way that I do. Most people talk about him in terms and tones that completely misrepresent the threat he poses to this country. It's like the vast majority of Americans are stoned to the gills and just don't appreciate how dangerous this deranged lunatic and the current senate are right now.
I fear, however, that the amount of yelling that is required to properly put Douche in context is so much that it becomes white noise. I'm not confident that people are incredulous enough for what this White House requires.
