It's a tale of 2 drugs.
Hydroxychloroquine and Remdesivir.
And Americans are being purposely duped at the risk of lives.
Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is a very inexpensive medication (costing $0.37- $0.67/dose), FDA Approved medication in use for over 60+ years without one- sinqle issue, proven effective against dozens of medical conditions. It is a proven stable medication with virtually no side effects used on everything from malaria, heart attacks, rheumatoid arthritis, cancers, and there are more than 500+ studies proving its efficacy in every single environment for the last 50 years. And in 2005 study, (published when Fauci was NiH Director), it was used effectively against SARS-Cov I and other coronaviruses and since the outbreak it's being used worldwide to defeat the virus. It's been noted in nations of Africa and India where entire populations take it prophylactically for malaria (something I happened to take when I traveled to India in 2001) - and those populations using HCQ are hardly infected by Covid!! (The US has 460 times more infected people than the 6 worst malaria-prevalent countries in Africa (who are responsible for 90% of the world's malaria cases) where the virus is being defeated.
Then we have the competitor to HCQ, called Remdesivir, an expensive medication (costing $3,1 20/dose + hospital stay) experimental drug, which is not FDA approved, is a failed Ebola drug manufactured by Gilead, that was developed for hepatitis C treatments and has lackluster eKicacy for SARS-Cov I and Covid-19.
On March 28th, HCQ was announced as FDA's emergency use authorization (EUA) and stockpiles of this cheap medication, which is over the counter in much of the world, were offered by the 1 2 US-based manufacturers for distribution to the American people.
As a result, Gilead's stock plummeted by nearly 1 0% as Remdesivir was not mentioned. Then miraculously, in June, a mere 2 months later two studies (funded and authored by employees of Gilead) are published in medical journals stating that HCQ. (a practically benign medication), is now declared poisonous.
The reason it was poisonous is because the studies used toxic dosages of 2400mg/day (more than 4 times the FDA stated dosage!!) The study then, only included patients who were in the latest stages of advanced infection, those already hospitalized, those who were Intubated, those nearing death, and those in many cases who could not even consent on their own as stated in the medical results!! Without validating any of the study details, FDA, within a weekend, revoked the EUA and banned the use of HCQ and the State Governors issued orders to their local health departments and medical boards instantly halted the use of HCQ. The WHO instantly stopped all studies based on the boqus 'toxic ' results. The studies were using quadruple-sized toxic doses on the 'near dead ' patients!!! Of course they were toxic! Of course the medication didn't work!!
But it gets worse. Did you know the FDA and WHO receive their guidance from a National Institute of Health (NiH)Advisory Board, which just happens to have 14 members who are involved with, or compensated by, Gilead? And now the Doctors who have been using HCQ effectively for decades of practice started to receive threatening letters of their practices, their licenses and malpractice suits if they continue to use HCQ. In some states, pharmacies were directed to refuse any doctor's prescription for HCQ at the risk of their own licenses. So now government and pharmacists are overriding doctors opinions, refusing to give the medication that doctors KNOW works! And that is an absolute tragedy to the American people, a violation of medical integrity and utter BS!
With HCQ discredited, and poor efficacy against Covidl 9; and without substantiated medical history, Remdesivir is championed by Fauci, and FDA puts it under a new Emerqency Use Authorization calling it the new 'standard of care ' without any studies to that effect.
Then the studies are confirmed as FRAUDULENT. The study by Gilead claimed to include 96,000 patients, 640+ hospitals and 1 6 countries, supposedly tested, collected, organized and authored and published in 60 days across dozens of 3rd world countries, but they couldn't validate a single detail. Within 2 weeks, thousands of doctors erupted with disapproval of every aspect of the study for false claims, toxic dosing, murdering patients, bad protocol, changing metrics mid-study and numerous invalid medical practices, and when Gilead was questioned by the publications to validate their dataset, they refused to disclose any data, refused to say what hospitals or even what countries their data supposedly came from. The medical publications, The Lancet, and The New England Medical Journal immediately recanted the studies and issued global apologies, but the damage was already done.
Today,1000's of phds have been threatened and many more are coming under medical review for using HCQ - a treatment routine known to be effective against Covid -19 around the world. Medical practitioners require the freedom of experience and interpretation of scientific data with their patients condition to determine the best courses of treatment.
After 1 2 years of trying to create a vaccine against SARS or MERS, we could not succeed. Today America is being duped into some future vaccine by Big pharmaceutical (Gilead), who just happened to author multiple fraudulent studies discrediting HCQ - their only competition.
Then, just 2 days ago on July 30...Gilead announces, to their "surprise; that their 2020 financial forecast has increased from $21 B up to $25B, mysteriously based on unanticipated sales of up to $3B of Remdesivir (yahoo finance article)
Is this lust a coincidence? I can't see how. You can all do the same research and draw your own conclusions, but this whole thing is dirty and does not pass the 'smell ' test of this American. While this game is being played, 150,000 of our countrymen have died of this virus including my father in law; and our country continues in a terrified strangle-hold of a virus that has a credible treatment options that the American public is prevented from accessing based on fraudulent Information.
Neither the government, nor a pharmacist has any right to override a doctor - their is no doctor by committee. This is the real tragedy. And at the very least, all treatment in America should be the free choice of all available options between a physician and their patient.
An investigation should be launched aqainst Gilead, FDA, WHO and Dr. Fauci, who funded ($3.7M over several years) the study of 'bat coronaviruses' in the Wuhan china lab.
