Not sure what the actual pairing would look like ‘on the ground’ (pun intended)…but I ask you this, if you are married and you are a man married to a woman…who has the final/most influence in your household/family? If you are a woman…do you not have equal or greater say so and influence in your home?
Personally, I think the women will be fine in the hereafter. Again, God is good. He is a loving God. Men and women will both be happy. A good Father would not have it any other way, wouldn’t you think?

If true joy requires choice (as per my understanding of LDS thought), then free agency should matter in the hereafter. Promising happiness without pre-defined equality risks sounding less like love and more like forced contentment.
Does free agency stop at the veil?

Apparently not. After all Satan gave Elohim and Jehovah the middle finger. Replete in the scriptures are claims that god would stop being god if......Limnor wrote: ↑Thu Sep 18, 2025 12:25 amIf true joy requires choice (as per my understanding of LDS thought), then free agency should matter in the hereafter. In the eternities Nelson will have two wives - Danzel and Wendy. Which if the three of them will have the final/most influence in that unit? Nelson has operated his family as a patriarchy his whole life. Do you expect that to be different in the hereafter?MG 2.0 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 18, 2025 12:03 amNot sure what the actual pairing would look like ‘on the ground’ (pun intended)…but I ask you this, if you are married and you are a man married to a woman…who has the final/most influence in your household/family? Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

Seriously, though. Not the way the mental gymnast talks to and about women.

You’re a man, so of course you think that.
Personally, I’d like to hear what Heavenly Mother has to say about that, but our loving Heavenly Father won’t let her speak for herself.Again, God is good. He is a loving God. Men and women will both be happy. A good Father would not have it any other way, wouldn’t you think?

I think her will and her desires are made known. Truthfully? If you or anyone else were to talk about Heavenly Mother in a similar manner that you feel/talk about God/Heavenly Father and Jesus…that would be even MORE disgusting than what we already hear all too often.I Have Questions wrote: ↑Thu Sep 18, 2025 7:59 amPersonally, I’d like to hear what Heavenly Mother has to say…but our loving Heavenly Father won’t let her speak for herself.
Women shouldn’t be treated like that. My wife is treated with respect. I would not think of swearing in her name or swearing at her. Yet, I think, some people would do just that if Heavenly Mother was at the forefront. God protects her from the crap that He has to endure.

That is the same "crap" my father used to tell me when I was a young boy growing up in the church and it's nothing but Mormon hogwash. It's stupid apologetic crap.
Let me tell you what I think of Heavenly Mormon Mother:
1) She's a bitch
2) She's a whore
3) She's a slut
I think that covers what I think of so-called Heavenly Mother!
May she rot in Mormon heaven. A stupid, f-ing woman!
